I have been reading a lot of biology and watching documents these days, to understand some of the process and theories of life in nature.
Working with subjects like this brings out special feelings in me, sometimes i think the beauty of nature is surreal.

Taken hand held when the sun was gazing through a cloud.
The sun was only up for 5-10 min that day, and it really helped me with the highlights.

Any fav, comment, questions is welcome and very appreciated.

What sort of plant is this or where do you live?

I know this may not be unique to your area, but I've certainly not seen it in Oregon, but then again I'm not out taking pics with a macro lens so...:p

Surreal is quite right.
If you believe in God, it gives you an appreciation for his ingenuity.
If you don't, it gives you an incredible glimpse of order in an otherwise chaotic world.
Either way you did a fine job capturing the light!
