Calm Moments by Sortvind Calm Moments by Sortvind
My fascination for autumn and its colors continues.
Amazed by how different results you can get from the same scenery with these colorful leafs and plants.

is taken 2 meters from this one, yet the feel is totally different in my eyes.

Hope you like it, any fav or feedback is welcome and very appreciated :aww:

perfect square composition.

il upload a photo of my son i took with the 50 1.4

the shallow dof is so powerful, and is nice to also see a bigger focal length then the macro can provide.

though im not implicating i dislike the macros ofcourse.

Oh, you have the 50 1.4? I am gonna buy that, as soon as i find it in a shop.
The 1.8 is fine if you hit the focus, but it does not focus where you put it, but 2-4 cm to the left. haha, insane.
Working with shallow dof is so much fun! :boogie:

The 1.4 is not that expensive, and i need a lens that does what i want it to, and not the other way around. the 1.8 is the cheapest lens available, its even cheaper then the god damn kit lens :lmao:
In Norway it costs about 150 us dollar
The 1.4 is 1.5 more expensive.

You have been missed for sure :chew:

haha yeah :icondamien-c: just got his and took a nice shot, its cheaper then kit but far superior in clarity, i wonder what hdr would be like.

nikkor has 3 different 1.4's i think.

i got the one which cost 400us or around there, images are sharp as a knife.

I have only tried the Nikon kit-lens, and i think that was impressive compared to canon.
Overall Nikon has great lenses :chew:

nikon kit eats my balls.

the 18-135 is more versatile then the 18-55.

but soon as you step into the land of hdr you are dead, kit lens murder the shit out of hdr.
