We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. Critiques
TONES ! Oh, I like them. Really. Photoshopped, clearly. But who cares. They works. I like the slow descent into the blue and the sweet autumn feeling.
COMPOSITION ! Nice trick in using the branch in the middle into separating the picture in three. It creates order in this kind of debauchery of leaves. One problem though : most of the leaves are seen in low-angle shot, and it creates, unfortunately, a kind of deformation, like if you transformated the picture from 4:3 ratio into a squared format without cropping.
ATMOSPHERE ! Did I say something about autumn ? Oh, I did ? I'll be damned ! It's charming.
SHADOWS ! Oh, these shadows are so lovely. The superposition of leaves creates a very subtile play of clair-obscur which is very pleasing to the eye. Once again, a very lovely piece.
