taken right outside my house yesterday when i had a hunting-for-interesting-flowers-for-macro-session.
Personally i find it damn hard to take photos of flowers and plants without it getting boring and more of a documentation. I achieved what i was after here, so im very pleased  I like the little white dots on the "thorns", i have no idea what they are for, or even what plant this is. It is fun to take photos when you know you want a 1:1/square photo, it takes more planning with the composition. As always with shots like this i shoot hand held without flash using daylight. Trying to keep the iso as low as possible, i like to have around 1/150 sec to 1/200 sec shutter speed, to avoid any movement blur. B/W with raw in lightroom and mild duo tone. Grain removal, crop for square , strengthen duo-tone and added some more mild colors, blur background more, selective sharpen in Photoshop. welcome to use it as wallpaper if you want to, or for reference for a drawing, but not for stock or re-use. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art.
