Location of this photo is right next to the sphinx in the Giza.
The tourist buss was just about to leave, and the sun was going down. I love how the strong back light made the foreground skies black when the camera "read" the light. i underexposed the picture by 1, to make sure that just a low amount of the photo had strong highlights. overexposed clouds is not nice. It is always easier to work with to dark areas compared to light. Original image had underexposed and low-contrast areas, so in the post processing i worked with contrast and color. the difference in the color between the upper and lower sky is actually from the original photo, i just made it warmer and less noticeable for a smoother look. oh, and the "ruins" you see in the bottom is grave champers. at least i think so, please correct me if i am wrong. Thats about it, hope you like it  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
