Where do I even begin to explain what this picture says to me. The past caliber of your submissions makes me feel that offering you this critique may not even be seen as needed, but nonetheless, I felt compelled to offer my own insight or understanding of what it represents.
First, the detail in this overwhelms me. I am referring specifically to the water droplets on the individual petals, first and foremost. They capture the contrasts of both the water and the flora beneath it so well, it's akin to looking through a wormhole into another reality. As for the petals themselves, I can almost sense the touched sensation of their softness and supple beauty.
The background in the lower left corner (my left, beneath the copyright character and your name) conjures up a creek bed of ink in my head. Neat affectation there!
This is an amazing photograph. In all honesty, I have no idea if this is a literal Blue Rose, something I was taught by my great-grandmother to grow as a boy (VERY HARD TO DO), or an edited standard rose of any distinct hue. Regardless, it looks like a rose is supposed to look when I am asleep and dreaming of such things.
This is an amazing image, and I sincerely appreciate you allowing us peasants (lol) to view it and speak on it if moved to do so.
