I like the fact that it seems a photo taken with an old camera, just that instead of using a "sepia filter" it has a "blue filter". It's beautiful and simple, with a great combination of colours, potenciated by the fact that it's only one flower and not a bunch of them. Also it seems a school work in which your teacher has asked you to create something beautiful with just two colours: blue and yellow (which mixed up, become green) ^_^ I also like the depth of field you created by allowing the stalk of the flower to be blurry, therefore our eyes don't get distracted by anything else but the two flowers (well, the top part of them).
This shot is a perfect example of moderation and balance. Composition of the photo spins around mild silhouette of a plant, stretches up to the viewer and blossoms with two lovely forget-me-not flowers. The image is divided into two contrasting parts - dark and light – crossed and joined together by a line of a stem. The technique is flawless. Here you can see the way field of depth is beautifully used as a tool to emphasize key points of the composition. I feel that the title and the general idea of the work fit very well. All the parts of the work – dark or light, sharp or blur, nearly colorless or vibrant – are woven together. Well done!
