Wow. That's all I could say when I first saw this! I've been looking at it more closely, and there are so many minute details the naked eye wouldn't see without assistance.

That's the beauty of photography. To bring out the best of normally mundane objects.

And you have certainly brought out the best of a not-necessarily mundane object! The plethora of beautiful and soft colours... it almost looks like a pastel drawing! The pages look so smooth, and the image so crisp, I could almost reach out and touch it...

Altogether, a fantasticly beautiful piece!

I've 5-starred everything besides originality as you can see. Why is this? Well, I believe that the presentation (vision) is stunning, the technique is applied beautifully and the impact is magnificent! I love how I went from: "What is this?" to "Wow!" when I first saw it.

As for originality however, I would say that yes, it most likely has been done before (hence the 4 and a half stars... but what hasn't been done? <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let…" width="15" height="15" alt=":P" title=":P (Lick)"/>), but the rest of the ratings are enough to push this deviation to the top <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>

Keep going with your work, this is fantastic!
