The pure simplicity of the shot is really what makes it intriguing, for the fact that the dice sits there alone and it could fill the mind with many ideas and concepts which is part of the brilliance contained in such a shot.
The muted colors suit this shot perfect and I love the DOF and focus, the way that the very front and back of the shot is blurred but around the dice you can see the grain of the wood it is sitting upon.
I can't think of anything I would improve upon here and I will close with saying that sometimes simplicity is really best.

I like this one a lot :)
The reflection of the dice and the texture of the wood looks really great.
I love the cold, muted colours. And the shadow to the right! And the fact that the dice is the only thing in the photo, just with a lot of space around it - that's very interesting.
Basically, I just love the whole photo. Great work :clap:
