Rainforest in Australia, not sure of the location. But it was a wonderful journey. I was there about 1 year ago, and i must have forgotten i ever took it, but its all coming back to me now. I used my Fujifilm F30 compact here, its a great travel friend. I said it before and i say it again, you do not need a 2000 dollar camera, a 200 dollar one can give you much joy! Just think the composition and exposure through.
The image was underexposed due to strong highlights stealing information from the shadow. i choose to focus on the highlights and made sure the image was indeed underexposed, much easier to retain information from shadows. So the post processing was shadow recovery, grain removal , contrast adjustments, and a warm filter to bring back the glow the scenery originally had. and a tiny border/frame.
Oh - my - gosh. This one somehow so reminds me of a huuuge painting, being worth a few thousand dollars. The colours are amazing, just as the lighting. Now knowing you're not even using such a terrible expensive camera makes you even more talented in my eyes. Keep up the great work!

OMG this is a wonderful picture. It looks that you did some kind of HDR. It's so sharp and perfect. And those warm tones make the photograph so much more beautiful! Impressive job
Thank you The reason i included that is because i read all the time in comments on both my own and others " wish i had your camera" what camera did you use here" "nice camera". well, here i used one of the cheapest compacts, and it works like a charm. though i don`t use it to prove anything, it is just a great camera! recommend everyone to get one! Ebay has them from around 150Us dollars.

Thank you i agree, though it is real it could just as well been photoshopped. maybe it depends on the monitor? The light is just below to strong here, but on a brighter monitor it would be a tad to much.
