This is just a wonderful picture! I really enjoy the soft colors and the blurred bokeh-ish background. It really makes the pocket-watch/stopwatch (I don't really know what it is...) stand out much more! I also really like where it was placed in the picture. I usually prefer things off to the side, but I really can't complain with this picture. I think the clock would look good in any part of the picture. think it's because of the soft background, how it's pretty much the same throughout the picture.
I don't know how you did it, (if it's added texture, or if it's actually like, a window or something, ) but the scratches in the background are so suttel, but so great! really pleasing to the eye. It's like the cherry on top of the cake. Or ice cream. Was it pie?
I applaud you for this picture is wonderful.

I love your pictures of pocket watches, they are an addiction of mine and I own 11 of them ranging in age from 10 years old to 105 years. Must get round to photographing them when I get my D80 repaired.
