Water has been detected in interstellar clouds within our galaxy, the Milky Way. It is believed that water exists in abundance in other galaxies too, because its components, hydrogen and oxygen, are among the most abundant elements in the universe.
A rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that causes a spectrum of light to appear in the sky when the Sun shines onto droplets of moisture in the Earth's atmosphere. Hope you like it, any fav and feedback is welcome and very appreciated.
beautiful piece and the description is exactly the way i love them to be done interesting stuff but how much did you manipulate the colors in this one?
Getting favs is probably an easy thing for you and truth is I don't give them away that easily. Long are the days where everything was new and exciting for me and favs would be given almost to every deviation. Not now. DA is a place of great talents and even the greatest of them MUST DESERVE a fav. Not just because it looks "cool".
And I think this work deserves one.
You play a lot with colours. They are the main key to your macro photos. Using them wisely your photos are like paintings but in VISIBLE the wide range of striking colours in a single water drop makes it breathtaking. Hypnotic like the famous feather you seem to have used.
This photo is all about hypnotics. You call for it in the feather. You reflect them in the drop and you give a more visible message to the wonder and magic of the powerful element of water. It shines so much it's hard for me to take my eyes out of it and for that reason it deserves a fav.
I would dare to say I would buy a print but I'm a person of constant travelling and right now, unfortunally I can't have it but... you never know tomorrow.
Why this work didn't become a DD I don't know but so far this is the best waterdrop photo I've seen (and they were quite some dozens). You know it's not just about the skill to take it... but the (good) artistic way of taking it.
