My Entry for the Monocolour Madness contest 
Location:
The photo is taken 10 min from my home, down by the sea.
the title is due to the fact that the skies that "comes" up from the mountain reminds me of a volcano impact.
Gear: Canon 350D/W kit lens, 3 ND filters ( ND4 ND8 ) , tripod.
Post processing:
Added contrast with photomatix, then,
Desaturated and added tones in photoshop CS2 using curves.
