And honestly..it is not..is a cheap ass dslr.
The color grain and the way the canon 350D handles light and sharpness is poor.
is a beginner camera for people unknown to photography.
It is not impossible to take good shots with it, by all means, but post processing is necessary.
When i photograph i never use tripod or complex rig-ups, i simply make sure i got the composition, depth of field, and choose the ISO necessary to avoid movement blur.
Most of my photos have lack of sharpness and grain in them, before i edit them.
For me the editing stage is just as important as the photography.
It is all about taking it in small steps.
Imagine how you want the image to look like, understand how to selective select areas you want to work with.
Remove grain before you sharpen and bump up the colors.
Read tutorials about cross processing effects.
I have been thinking about posting some before and after shot for some of my most edited work..
i think you guys would be O_o
For me it is about the result. If the image is fine as it is, then just do the basic.
if i love the compositon and subject, but its way off on quality, i can spend hours tweaking.

I think i soon will upload a very edited image and link to a unedited version.
Is a bit scary to, because i am a perfectionist, so it scares me
Glad I am not the only one who has this problem!
I mean, it is not just to slide some process, good editing takes a good eye and a creative mind.
And the result is the main thing
I have no problem with people saying they prefer it the unedited way, but as soon as they claim it's no art anymore, I have to disagree!
It is fine to use, by all means, but far from magical.
might be that mines worne out though, i have to get a new before it falls apart
