I had a blast today browsing online and reading about dooms day theories.
The most popular now is off course the Maya Calendar aka that it ends 2012.
I am not judging anyones view, i just find it fascinating with mass hysteria.
Though, the fascinating with 2012 is that there have never been so many theories that supports the same year.
Some of the theories regarding 2012:
Galactic alignment
Timewave zero and the I Ching
Geomagnetic reversal
Black hole alignment
Web Bot project
Maya Calendar

So, what is your view?

All feedback, fav, comments are very appreciated.
I reached the point where i don`t have time to reply, but i read them all.
if there is anything you want me to answer, just drop me a note.

Of Mayan Descent here ~_~ While the long count Calendar does end in 2012 Guess what it starts again!! Lol! What 2012 is seen by the Mayan Calendar is as a year of destruction and renewal not apocalyptic ending. One has to keep in mind that much of the writings that fully explain Mayan beliefs, Myths, superstitions etc are fragmentary. Much of the knowledge of the Maya were destroyed by the conquistadors with only 5 books surviving. Without a larger context to place them in it's hard to know what exactly they predicted.

My view, for what it's worth, is that this is all complete rubbish based on a misinterpretation of the way that the Mayan calendar works. If the world ends in 2012, I'll eat my hat.

Well, I believe that when the world ends we won't know it's coming, it'll be a total surprise. I don't think we can really predict when it'll end.

I just don't believe the end of the world. If it REALLY happened, then, I'll die around the people I love. That's all. x)

But I saw the movie, though. lol x)

Well, if there's any scientific evidence of such a thing, I'll consider the possibility... but I don't expect the world the just... collapse inward on itself, or crumble into dust, or go spiralling uncontrollably into space...

I suppose something will happen :-?? some kind of climatic change or stuff, 'cause there is scientific proof of these kinda things, like earth temperature increasing/decreasing and ice blocks melting (which they already do, btw). I'm not expecting some magical WOOSH and the world disappears just like that, but I do think things will change. They are changing right now too, after all.

My view is simple (:
Nothing will happen.
Everything will be tha same as now.

Anyhow, I wouldn't have changed my life in 2 years.
