I have I used a smaller watermark back a while ago and someone had stolen one of my pics a day or so after I posted it on dA. They cloned or healed out my watermark, and up loaded it to a Flickr account. I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get the image removed! anyways...after that I made my watermark bigger and in a place that would most likely ruin the image if someone wants to try and take it off. Plus they had made it available for printing

I never looked before, cus I didn't think anyone would steal my work, but then I was introduced to tin eye, and there I found my work miraculously become someones ad, watermark gone and the text I had there too, no credit either...I'm afraid to look for anymore of my work...I don't want the stress that comes with the discoveries

Maybe my art isn't worth to be stolen, but I hope, it never happens!

It's happened to me, and it happened to my husband immediately after he created an account. I like to use the word respect a lot, but I don't know if that really covers it. Hope it helps though.

not that I know of, but I've had watermarks on my pictures from the very beginning... so either thats working, or no one cares enough to try and rip off my work XD
