Long exposure, yes.
General every day shots, no.
Landscape shots - rarely. Too difficult to get a tripod up, I don't have a bag designed to carry a tripod and it either sticks out the top (and slowly opens my bag until everything falls out) or I carry it... and that is just a nuisance.

So far ive taken all my pics hand-held, but i bought a tripod recently. I dont have the steadiest hand, so I'm sure it will be useful for certain types of shots (night, zoom etc)

I det siste har jeg nesten ikke brukt det til makro, fordi jeg ville prøve meg litt uten siden du alltid sier du gjør det uten (og da ville jeg også klare det )
Men det kommer litt ann på om jeg gidder å ta me stativet.

just for long exposure i use my uber sexy a few kilos heavy tripod .
for all else i have my sometimes steady arms .

the sun is the same in a relative way, but youre older..

I use it for long exposure shots and when there's not so much light. And certain landscape and fast-movement shots . When I have my tripod with me, that is.
